Ontluchtingsnippel Koppelingswerkcilinder voor het hydraulische koppelingsontkoppelingscircuit. Deze wordt in de koppelingswerkcilinder geschroefd, op het hoogste punt van de vloeistofkamer.

Door de schroef te openen, komt vastzittende lucht vrij uit de werkcilinder bij het ontluchten van het systeem, waardoor een stevig pedaal en volledige koppeling worden hersteld; gesloten, sluit het het hydraulische circuit af tegen vloeistofverlies. Een vastzittende of afgeronde ontluchtingsnippel is een veelvoorkomende reden dat een werkcilinder niet kan worden ontlucht en wordt daarom vervangen.
