The left-hand footwell repair panel is a body repair section for the nearside footwell on right-hand-drive Land Rover Series 1. It covers the footwell floor and inner side panel, and welds in where the original footwell has corroded during floor and bulkhead restoration.

Is this panel for the driver's or passenger's side?

This is the left-hand (nearside) panel for a right-hand-drive Series 1, so it's the front passenger footwell. The offside driver's footwell uses the separate right-hand panel, DA2001O. Check which side has corroded before ordering.

How is the footwell repair panel fitted?

The footwell repair panel is welded in, so it's a specialist bodywork job rather than a bolt-on repair. The corroded original section is cut out and the new panel welded into the floor and bulkhead area during restoration.
