Differentieellager is een conisch rollager dat het differentieelhuis in de as ondersteunt, als onderdeel van de kroonwiel- en pignon-assemblage.

Het lager fixeert het huis in de asbehuizing en draagt de belasting die via het kroonwiel wordt overgebracht, waardoor de loopstand en voorspanning van het huis worden ingesteld. Dit lager past op het tweekoppige differentieel van het Rover-type.
