Binnenste conische rollager gebruikt in de differentieel pignon-as assemblage binnen de eindreductie van de as.

Het lager ondersteunt het binnenste uiteinde van de aandrijfpignon waar deze roteert binnen het differentieelhuis, waarbij een nauwkeurige uitlijning van de pignon wordt gehandhaafd en axiale en radiale belastingen worden geregeld die worden gegenereerd tijdens koppeloverdracht tussen de cardanas en het kroonwiel.

Geïnstalleerd als onderdeel van de pignonlageropstelling in de differentieeldrager, werkend in combinatie met het buitenste pignonlager, inklapbare afstandshouder of shims, en de pignonoliekeerring om de juiste voorspanning en tandwielingrijppositie in te stellen.
