Distributieriemkit voor de nokkenasaandrijving van de 2.5L 300 Tdi turbodieselmotor.

De distributieriem synchroniseert de rotatie van de krukas en de nokkenas om de juiste kleptiming te handhaven, terwijl de spanner en de spanrol de riemspanning en -loop tijdens bedrijf instellen en vasthouden.

Deze kit bestaat uit de distributieriem, spanner, spanrol, krukastandwiel, pakking van de voorklep en de bijbehorende tapeinden en bouten. Het is de gemodificeerde specificatie, die de afstandhouder in de spanrol plaatst om te voorkomen dat de riem van de poelies afloopt, een bekende zwakte van de originele 300 Tdi-distributie-opstelling. Waar een vroege installatie een afzonderlijke afstandhoudring voor de spanrol gebruikte, moet die ring worden verwijderd voordat deze kit wordt gemonteerd.
