Track Rod & Steering Damper Bush for the steering linkage, locating the steering damper at its mounting eye.

The bush insulates the damper mounting from the track rod, cushioning the connection and absorbing the road-wheel vibration fed back through the steering. As it perishes it allows free play and knock in the steering, so it is renewed when the steering damper is replaced or when wander, vibration or a knocking front end develops.
