Speedometer Drive Cable transmits rotational drive from the gearbox speedometer take-off to the speedometer head in the instrument panel.

An inner cable rotating within an outer sheath carries the drive, turning the speedometer mechanism in proportion to road speed. This cable is for right-hand-drive (RHD) vehicles with the 2.25 litre petrol engine and is approximately 250 cm long.
