Cylinder Liner - the replaceable liner that forms the bore in which the piston and rings run within the cylinder block.

It provides the hard wearing surface for the piston rings and carries combustion heat away into the surrounding block. This is the standard (nominal) bore size, as fitted to an un-rebored block.

For the 2.25L petrol, 2.5L petrol and 2.5L four-cylinder naturally-aspirated diesel engines.
