O-Ring - Front Output Shaft - LT230 Transfer Case

This O-ring seals the front output shaft where it exits the LT230 transfer case housing. It sits in the groove on the front output shaft and prevents transmission oil from escaping at the shaft seal interface.

A failed or hardened O-ring at this location results in oil loss from the transfer case front output, which can lead to lubricant starvation and premature wear of the output shaft and associated bearings. Replacement is recommended whenever the front output flange or shaft is removed.
