Description:
Clutch release fork is used in the clutch release mechanism of manual transmission systems.

The fork operates within the clutch housing and converts the axial movement of the clutch release mechanism into lever action that presses the release bearing against the clutch pressure plate. This action disengages the clutch driven plate from the flywheel during gear changes.

Installed in the clutch release mechanism assembly for manual transmission applications. The fork pivots on its mounting point within the bellhousing and interfaces with the clutch slave cylinder pushrod and release bearing.
