Idler Pulley for the auxiliary drive belt system of the 2.4L Duratorq-TDCi and 2.2L TDCi diesel engines.
The idler pulley guides the poly-V accessory drive belt around the ancillary layout, maintaining correct belt routing and wrap angle across the driven components. It runs on a sealed bearing and presents a smooth running surface for the belt, keeping the belt path stable as the ancillaries are driven. Applies to engines built with no air conditioning or with manual air conditioning.
