Can the tab washer be reused?

The FTC3185 tab washer is single-use and should be replaced every time the hub nut is disturbed. Once the tabs have been bent and straightened they lose their grip and can crack, so a fresh washer each time keeps the hub nut secure.

How many tab washers do I need?

You typically need one FTC3185 tab washer per hub, so a full axle uses two and doing all four corners needs four. Because they are single-use, it is worth having a spare when you strip a hub.
