Wielremcilinder voor de trommelremconstructie - de hydraulische hulpcilinder aan de rechterkant die de remschoenen bedient. Dezelfde cilinder dient voor zowel de voor- als de achterpositie.

Gevoed door de remleiding van de hoofdremcilinder, bewegen de zuigers van de cilinder naar buiten onder hydraulische druk om de remschoenen tegen de trommel te drukken, waarna ze terugtrekken wanneer de druk wegvalt. Een lekkende of vastzittende cilinder veroorzaakt een zacht pedaal, vloeistofverlies of een slepende rem, en wordt als complete eenheid vervangen.
