Hoofdlagerschroef - een 1/2" UNC-bout die een hoofdlagerkap aan het cilinderblok van de Rover V8-motor bevestigt.

Het klemt de hoofdlagerkap en de onderste lagerschaal om een hoofdlagerpen van de krukas, waardoor het dragende huis wordt gevormd dat de krukas in het blok ondersteunt. Als kritiek bevestigingsmiddel voor het onderblok wordt deze bij montage tot het gespecificeerde aanhaalmoment vastgezet.
