Nokkenaslager voor de 2e, 3e en 4e lagerposities van de viercilindermotor. Het lagerschaal wordt in het huis in het cilinderblok geplaatst en draagt de nokkenastap, waardoor speling wordt gehandhaafd terwijl de nokkenas draait.

De nokkenaslagers positioneren de nokkenas in het blok en nemen de belastingen op die vanuit de nokken terugkomen wanneer deze de klepbediening en brandstof- en oliepompen aandrijven. Dit onderdeel dekt de midden- en achterposities; de voorste tap maakt gebruik van een afzonderlijk lager. De juiste lagerspeling handhaaft de oliedruk door de as en zorgt ervoor dat de klepbediening stil blijft.
