Elke schoen heeft de verlijmde frictievoering die uitzet tegen het binnenoppervlak van de remtrommel wanneer de wielremcilinder wordt bediend, waardoor de remkracht op de vooras wordt gegenereerd. The RTC3417G is a complete front axle set of four brake shoes for Series Land Rover front drum brakes. Each shoe carries a bonded friction lining that expands against the inside of the brake drum when the wheel cylinder is actuated, generating braking force at the front axle.

How many shoes are in this set and does it cover both wheels?

This set contains four brake shoes, enough to reline both front wheels on the axle. Supplying a full axle set keeps braking balanced side to side, so both front drums are relined together rather than one wheel at a time.
