EGR Blanking Kit for the Td5 2.5L diesel, used to remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve from the inlet manifold and seal off the EGR feed. With the valve removed, exhaust gas is no longer recirculated into the intake charge.

The kit replaces the EGR valve with a blanking plate and supplies a new intercooler hose fitting to reconnect the intake tract where the valve sat. Supplied with the blanking plate, the intercooler hose fitting, a gasket and the mounting bolts.

Disabling the EGR system affects the vehicle's emissions equipment; check the regulations in your country before fitting, as in some territories it is permitted for off-road use only.
