Plenum Hose for the 3.5L V8 EFi petrol engine.

This hose connects to the plenum chamber of the V8 EFi inlet manifold assembly and forms part of the air distribution system that delivers the air charge to the engine. The plenum chamber acts as a pressurised air reservoir that feeds the individual intake runners; this hose maintains the sealed connection at the plenum assembly.

Frequently asked questions

What does the plenum hose (ERC9115) do?
The plenum hose connects to the plenum chamber on the V8 EFi inlet manifold and feeds the air charge into the engine's intake. The plenum acts as a pressurised air reservoir for the intake runners, and this hose keeps that connection sealed on the V8 EFi petrol engine.
Which Land Rovers does this plenum hose fit?
This plenum hose fits the V8 EFi petrol Discovery 1 (1989-1998) and Range Rover Classic (1986-1991) up to VIN HA610293. If you have a Range Rover Classic, check your VIN against that break, as later EFi systems differ.
Why might a plenum hose need replacing?
Plenum hoses typically fail as the rubber ages, hardening, cracking, or splitting after years of underbonnet heat. A perished hose can let unmetered air into the V8 EFi intake, causing rough idle or poor running. Inspect it when working on the manifold.
