Fuel Spill Pipe for the 200 TDi diesel injection system, part of the injector leak-off (spill return) circuit.

The pipe links the injector leak-off unions and carries surplus fuel that spills past the injector needles back to the fuel return line. It keeps the injectors vented and returns the unburnt fuel to the low-pressure side of the fuel system.

Frequently asked questions

What is the ERR3652 fuel spill pipe used for?
The ERR3652 fuel spill pipe carries surplus diesel from the injector leak-off unions back to the fuel return line on the 200 TDi engine. It keeps the injectors vented, returning fuel that spills past the injector needles to the low-pressure side of the system.
Which Land Rover models does this spill pipe fit?
This spill pipe fits the Land Rover Defender 200 TDi (1987-2006) and Discovery 1 200 TDi (1989-1998) from VIN KA045371. Confirm your Discovery 1 build against that VIN break, since earlier cars use a different leak-off arrangement.
Why do 200 TDi spill pipes fail, and what are the signs?
200 TDi spill pipes typically fail when the rubber sections perish or the unions weep, usually from age and diesel exposure. Signs are typically a fuel smell, diesel residue around the injectors, and hard starting. A leaking leak-off circuit can let air into the injectors.
