Crankshaft Woodruff Key for the 2.5L 300TDi and 2.5L Td5 diesel engines. This semicircular key seats in a slot machined into the crankshaft nose and indexes the timing sprocket and crankshaft pulley to the shaft, preventing rotational slip and preserving correct timing alignment.

It is a component of the crankshaft timing drive and is renewed whenever the front of the crankshaft is dismantled.
