This component mounts within the upper dashboard structure and provides the housing interface for the instrument cluster, aligning with the fascia panel and securing to the instrument panel support structure.
It integrates within the interior trim and dashboard assembly group and positions the instrument pack relative to the steering column and main fascia crossmember.

It functions as the structural cowl surrounding the instrument pack and forms the mounting framework between the dash assembly and the instrument cluster unit.
