Oil Temperature Transmitter for the Defender V8 petrol engine.

This sender unit threads into the engine oil gallery and converts oil temperature to an electrical resistance signal for the instrument cluster oil temperature gauge. When the transmitter fails, the gauge may read incorrectly or fail to register.
