Handbrake Drum is the drum for the transmission-mounted parking brake, for use with the LT76 gearbox.
Mounted at the rear of the gearbox on the transmission output, it provides the friction surface against which the handbrake shoes expand. Because it acts on the transmission rather than the road wheels, this drum-type parking brake locks the drivetrain as a whole when the handbrake is applied.
