Bobine voor het V8 benzineontstekingssysteem. Het zet de laagspanning om in de hoogspanning die de bougies via de verdeler ontsteekt.

Dit is een ballasttype (lage weerstand) bobine die is ontworpen om via een externe ballastweerstand te werken. De weerstand verlaagt de voedingsspanning tijdens normaal gebruik en wordt bij het starten omzeild om een sterkere vonk te geven. Het moet worden gebruikt met een bijpassende ballastweerstand (bijbehorend onderdeel 134176) en mag niet zonder worden gemonteerd op een volledig spanningssysteem.
