Description:
Ball Race - Steering Box (Adjusting) is a component of the recirculating-ball manual steering box assembly, used to control pre-load and end-float on the steering column shaft within the box.
This adjusting ball race seats between the steering column and the steering box housing, allowing the steering box to be set to the correct operating pre-load during assembly or overhaul. Correct adjustment eliminates steering column free play and ensures accurate steering response.
