Selector Rod Rubber Grommet Washer is the rubber sealing element fitted around the reverse gear selector shaft at its exit point through the Series 3 gearbox casing.
The grommet prevents oil from escaping around the selector rod bore and keeps contamination out of the gear selector mechanism.
