The Engine driven mechanical fuel lift pump is installed within the engine fuel system on 300Tdi diesel applications.

This diaphragm-type pump mounts to the engine and forms part of the low-pressure fuel supply circuit, drawing fuel from the tank and delivering it to the fuel injection pump.

It operates downstream of the fuel filter assembly and upstream of the injection pump, maintaining continuous fuel delivery under engine operation.
