Description:
Automatic ancillary drive belt tensioner is used in the front-end accessory drive system to maintain correct belt tension across auxiliary components such as alternator, water pump and power steering pump.

Spring-loaded mechanism compensates for belt stretch and load variation during engine operation.

Applied to Land Rover vehicles fitted with the 2.5L 4-cylinder 300Tdi diesel engine including Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic.
