Keerring hoofdas versnellingsbak voor de achterkant van de handgeschakelde versnellingsbak, die de hoofdas afdicht waar deze door de achterkant van het hoofdas- en tandwielgedeelte gaat.

De keerring draait op de roterende hoofdas en houdt de versnellingsbakolie aan de uitgaande zijde vast, zodat deze niet langs de as lekt. Deze wordt vervangen wanneer de achterkant van de versnellingsbak wordt gedemonteerd of er een lekkage aan de uitgang ontstaat.
