This long shackle pin is fitted at the rearmost pivot point of the front spring shackle - connecting the shackle to the spring eye. The additional length compared to the short and medium shackle pins accommodates the geometry of the front spring shackle assembly. Used on Series 2/2A suffix B onwards and all Series III vehicles.
