Axle Breather Pipe vents the rear Salisbury axle housing.

It connects to the top of the axle casing and equalises internal pressure as the axle oil heats and cools, preventing the pressure differential that would otherwise force oil past the hub and pinion seals. Routing the vent to a raised point also keeps water and debris out of the breather path during wading. Fitted to the rear Salisbury axle.
