Pignonkeerring - Salisbury-as dicht de neus van de pignon-as af aan de voorzijde van de Salisbury differentiaalhuis, waar de flens van de cardanas koppelt aan het pignon.

The AEU2515 is the pinion shaft oil seal pressed into the front face of the Salisbury differential housing. It retains the hypoid gear oil and prevents leakage around the pinion shaft at the propshaft flange end. Replace it when oil weeps from around the propshaft yoke or when the differential is disassembled for overhaul.
